[Updated 12/3/21]  There’s nothing quite like rounding up the whole family and setting out on the adventure of going to one of the many Georgia Christmas tree farms to bring home the perfect real tree after the Fall Colors in North Georgia Mountains have faded.

As you explore rows and rows of bright green trees and breathe in the crisp aromas of pine and cedar, North Georgia Christmas Tree farms are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Since COVID-19 is still around, there are a few things to keep in mind while finding a tree for the holiday season this year.

The biggest piece of advice we can offer is to always visit the farm’s website and Facebook page or even give them a call before you go to make sure they are still open to guests and have trees available.

Many of the farms also have specific COVID-19 requirements you should be aware of and some may be limiting certain activities like visits with Santa and hayrides due to safety concerns.

On a normal year, most Christmas tree farms remain open up to Christmas Eve, but this year many farms are closing early. Supplies may also be limited so it’s best to get your tree as soon after Thanksgiving as possible to ensure you can find the perfect one!

So whether you’re continuing decades long Christmas traditions or cutting down your first ever live tree, keep on reading to see some of the best North Georgia choose and cut Christmas Tree Farms!
