If you’re looking for where to cut your own Christmas tree, this family owned and operated Christmas Tree Farm could be the perfect place for you as they go by the saying, “we provide the saw, you provide the saw power.”

Now in its 23rd year of selling Christmas Trees Bottoms Christmas Tree Farm have over 4,000 choose and cut Christmas Trees in their fields including a large selection of fresh cut Fraser Firs in their barn brought in from North Carolina.

After picking the perfect tree you can take a hayride throughout the farm for $3 per rider or take a stroll around the walking trail to see farm animals like goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and horses.

Complimentary hot apple cider will be provided along with marshmallows to roast over the fire pit for smores!

For other goodies be sure the Santa Snack Shack for yummy treats like jams, jellies, and homemade banana nut bread.

This season in response to COVID-19 all hand saws and s’mores sticks will be sanitized, masks will be required for all cashiers and concession workers, there will be touch-less checkout and social distancing will be encouraged.

Located on 50 acres of historic farm land, Jack’s Creek Farm is known for their quality award winning trees and being one of the best “choose and cut” Christmas tree farms.

The farm offers Leyland Cypress, Red Cedars, Blue Ice, Carolina Sapphire, and Green Giant trees that you can cut down as well as fresh pre-cut Fraser Firs brought in from North Carolina the day after they are cut.

After securing the best tree for your home you can get photos with Santa on December 5-6 and 12-13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $10 for a family picture or $25 for a picture taken by a photographer.

While you’re there be sure to stop by Grandma’s Christmas Shop where you can find fresh garland and wreaths, holiday bows, ornaments and more! 

Snacks like boiled peanuts, chips, and hot chocolate are also available at the farm’s concession stand!

This Christmas season starting on Thanksgiving day, you can make a trip to Thompson’s Tree Farm to find the perfect tree to bring home for the holidays!

Their choose and cut trees include Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Blue Ice, Green Giant, and Carolina Sapphire along with freshly cut North Carolina Fraser Fir Pine Garland and Wreaths.

Unfortunately this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic hayrides and photos with Santa have been postponed until next year and food and drinks will not be offered in the gift shop, but the gift shop will still be open for shopping!

The farm also has goats and cows that love bread so you are welcome to bring some along to give them a treat!

For optimal safety, appointments will be required and can be made on their website and on weekends from 8:30 to 9:30 am the farm will be open exclusively for senior citizens with health issues!

For over 30 years Hunters’ Christmas Tree Farm has allowed families from all over to come pick out and cut down their own special tree. 

Hundreds of Leyland Cypress trees and fresh cut Fraser Firs brought in from North Carolina are available along with tree stands and supplies, a variety of wreaths, and White Pine and Fraser Fir garlands.

Complimentary hot chocolate and hay rides will be available. But for a truly special Holiday visit stop by on December 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get a chance to visit with Santa!

For Santa’s safety in light of COVID-19 unfortunately no one will be able to sit on his lap, but children are encouraged to write letters to Santa and leave them with him.

Other precautions put into place include sanitizing saws, reduced number of passengers on the hayride and masks will be encouraged if you cannot maintain a 6 foot spacing from others.

One of the best Georgia Christmas tree farms, Coker Tree Farm is a family run choose and cut tree farm that has been providing trees for Metro-Atlanta for over 38 years.

They have a great selection of Murray Cypress and Carolina Sapphire trees for you to choose from and will provide saws for cutting. They even have their own elve’s to help shake and bail your tree free of charge!

Their newest edition is their fresh-cut Fraser Firs brought in from North Carolina. Arriving on the farm only 1 – 5 days after being harvested, they are given a fresh cut and placed in water immediately on arrival to ensure the tree stays fresh!

Masks are mandatory when you visit the farm and saws will be sanitized after every use for your safety. Numerous hand sanitizing stations will also be set up throughout the farm.

Located just 30 minutes outside of Atlanta, Sleepy Hollow Farm is one of the most beloved family-owned tree farms in Georgia with 60 acres of beautiful Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire and Blue Ice Trees.

At the entrance of the farm you will be given a saw for you to use once you have picked the perfect tree. The farm’s staff will net your tree, drill a hole for the stands, and tie your tree for no additional cost.

Pre-cut Frasier Firs are also available along with fresh made wreaths after November 21st. 

As an added treat on weekends if you purchase a tree you can play on the farm’s playground for free! Otherwise visits to the playground are $5 per person with children under 2 able to play for free.

While there will not be a cookies with Santa event this year (it will be returning in December 2021), the country store is open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. where you can purchase a variety of yummy treats like hot cocoa, jams, jellies, salsa and cookies!

This family owned choose and cut Christmas tree farm located in the foothills of north Georgia is the perfect place for finding a tree to bring home for the holidays.

You have the choice of either a Murray Cypress or Carolina Sapphire tree and saws will be provided for you. The friendly farm staff will be available to assist if need be and will help you load your tree before you leave!

Along with picking your tree and enjoying the beautiful scenery, there will be an open fire pit where you can roast marshmallows and make s’mores!

The first day open is November 27th but if you would like to choose your tree early and prepay they will mark your tree sold and you can cut it when you like- just give them a call!

Starting on November 21 the Christmas Carroll Tree Farm will be open and ready for you to come get your perfect tree!

With an abundance of Murray Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, and Frasier Fir trees delivered fresh from North Carolina each year you’re bound to find just the right tree to help you celebrate the holidays!

Hand saws are provided for you to make the cut yourself or the staff can come and cut it for you.

Festive wreaths are also available for purchase as well as tree stands and watering funnels for your tree.

Due to COVID-19 there will not be complementary hot chocolate or snacks to reduce the risk of spreading germs and it is asked that everyone be social distanced at least 6 feet while in the field.

Located just north of Athens, this family-owned farm is a wonderland of trees with a variety of Leyland Cypress, Murray Cypress, Neylor Blue, Carolina Sapphire, Blue Ice, Burkii Cedar, Silver Smoke, and Eastern Red Cedar trees for you to explore.

The farm will provide you with a saw and free shaking and drilling for tree stands. The staff will also be available to help you cut down the tree if you need and load it up on your car for the journey home!

After you’ve got your perfect tree cut and loaded up be sure to check out the farm’s store to shop for wreaths, homemade jellies, ornaments, bows, and other Christmas gifts!

Also if you make a visit on the weekends, hot apple cider and boiled peanuts will be available.

For your safety 7 G’s Farm will be sanitizing the hand saws, disinfecting the store with lysol, providing hand sanitizer stations and encouraging the wearing of facial coverings when social distancing is not possible.

This Christmas Season make a trip to the Southern Tree Plantation to enjoy some fun holiday activities and choose just the right tree to help you celebrate.

You can either cut your own tree or choose from a variety or pre-cut trees that will be on the farm.

Pre-cut Fraser Fir and Blue Spruce are also available along with snow flocked trees that give the appearance of a freshly fallen snow on your tree.

While at Yule Forest you can also get a fresh wreath or garland that are able to be cut to any size you would like!

The farm also works with the Toys For Tots program as a partner and official drop-off site so you can bring unwrapped toys to be donated and given to children who are less fortunate this Christmas season!

Due to COVID-19 staff will be wearing masks at all time, the checkout and tree loading area has been expanded to comply with social distancing, and handheld saws will be sanitized between uses.

This family farm has been providing some of the best Christmas trees in north Georgia for over 30  years. 

The choose and cut trees available are Leyland Cypress and Carolina Sapphire and pre-cut Fraser firs are also available for purchase.

Cooper’s Tree Farm also has beautiful wreaths, tables arrangements, and decorative greenery you can buy to add to your holiday decor!

Starting on November 21st, the farm is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until their tree supply goes down.
