10. Big Cypress Lodge

The (in)famous Memphis Pyramid failed as a sports and live music venue, but it thrives as a tourist attraction. It’s now known as Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid, and it’s right next to the 103-room Big Cypress Lodge.
Though perhaps best-known as a family-friendly destination, the Big Cypress Lodge is also a rustic couples getaway in TN. It even has a Big Cypress Spa!
All rooms have jetted tubs, handmade furniture, and electric fireplaces, and offer outstanding views of Downtown Memphis and/or the Mississippi River.
Stays here include the Sky High Ride to the top of the Pyramid, and time to enjoy views from the glass Observation Deck. The Pyramid also has shopping, museums, adventure activities, and lots of restaurant options.
