There’s a basketball court on the property for those who like to shoot hoops, and there are great mountain biking and hiking trails at the Talking Rock Nature Preserve, which is 11 miles from the hotel.

For those interested in trying white water rafting in Georgia, Ducktown is a popular starting point for several Ocoee River rafting outfitters.

If hiking trails are more your speed, the Falls Branch Falls Trailhead is about 26 miles from the motel.

Climbing 200 feet in elevation, the trail leads to a wooden observation platform over Stanley Creek, where you can marvel at a two-tiered waterfall and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding wilderness.
