Located off of Highway 105, just over 9 miles from Blowing Rock restaurants, the Dusty Boot cabin is tucked away in the serene, gated community of Twin Rivers.

Walk into this posh North Carolina cabin and you’ll find everything you could possibly want from a luxurious mountain getaway.

The first thing you’ll notice upon entering the main level are the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, which put the jaw-dropping scenic views on full display. 

The hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and upscale furnishings add flair to the rental, as does the river rock gas log fireplace, which is the central focal point of the living room.

There’s a deluxe kitchen on the main floor, and a den downstairs that features a fireplace, wet bar, and air hockey and pool tables.


The main level’s covered deck has plenty of dining and lounging furniture centered around a gas fireplace. There’s also a custom antler chandelier overhead and an outdoor TV.

The views from the deck are truly special because the cabin is located atop a hill, allowing for far-range views of Grandfather Mountain and other iconic summits in the distance.

The Dusty Boot cabin is close to Valle Crucis, Foscoe, and Seven Devils, where you can find Hawksnest Snow Tubing and the Otter Falls Trail. Sugar Mountain and Grandfather Mountain are less than 10 miles away.

The Mountaineer Manor is a beautifully designed 3-story cabin rental that can sleep up to 10 guests. 

Set on three acres of land just a short drive from the Watauga River near Valle Crucis, it’s located in a pristine section of the North Carolina mountains.

The cabin was built to make the most of the gorgeous views, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. So the rolling mountains of NC’s Blue Ridge region are always within sight.

There’s a stacked stone gas log fireplace located in between the living room and dining area, plus a well-equipped kitchen.

Two of the four bedrooms are located on the main floor, while the third is on the upper level and the fourth is on the lower level. Each room has its own TV and linens.


There’s an upper-level deck attached to the cabin that has chairs for lounging and soaking in the views. There’s a gas BBQ grill at the front of the house.

Just a short walk from the cabin you’ll find a newly installed fire pit surrounded by new Adirondack chairs. 

Dogs are welcome to join you at the Mountaineer Manor for an additional $50 per night per pet.

There’s also a large sectional couch and a Smart TV in the living room, which comes with a video game station and cable TV.


In addition to the large covered deck, there’s a large, 8-person hot tub that comes with this Boone cabin rental. There’s also plenty of patio furniture, and an edge bar that overlooks the river.
